The Two Sides Of The Super Bowl

February 1, 2013 — 1 Comment

When you think of the Super Bowl, what’s the first thing that comes to mind? The crazy commercials, a game that decides the last team standing, or maybe just a time when we all get together, fellowship, and enjoy an evening together.

Unfortunately, the Super Bowl has one more ignomious descriptor. Not only is it the Super Bowl of football, but the Super Bowl of sex trafficking. This is a big weekend for prostitution, trafficking, and drug use in the U.S. So what can we do about this?

You may have heard of the End It Movement, which is a ministry that has recently started to fight human trafficking worldwide. This is something that has hit home to me, as I live in the Kansas City Metro area, which is the No. 4 trafficking hub in the United States. Because of this, you may see tweets, posts, and other articles I tag in the future that simply raise awareness about human trafficking, and what we can do to help stop it. One way is to go the website www.enditmovement.com and sign up for updates, see the different ministries involved, and find out more statistics.

Below is a video that highlights the End it Movement.

Are you in it to end it?

We need to ring this bell loud and long until sex trafficking is history. End It!
